Virtual and Physical Networks
The project pushes on how technology will change the 21st century library/media center moving forward. The focus is on virtual and physical users that will occupy the project and how each can operate simultaneously. The project also connects to an existing metro mover in Miami, which allows the project to serve as a transportation station as well.
The users are available to connect to the victual content of the building such as online books, database, and internet by connecting to the private servers in the center. Program elements such as the playground and book storage produce energy when interacting with the physical users. The power helps function the virtual program elements that the virtual users will consume. The project create a narrative of smart and playful elements that can begin to rebrand on the way we see libraries moving forward.
